This movie, although weird at parts, was actually pretty good. It follows a young black boy from Detroit whose name is Dre Parker (Smith). He moves to China and quickly, gets into a lot of trouble. A bunch of Chinese boys, who are very good at Kung Fu, beat him up. However, the apartment's in which Dre lives in maintenance man helps Parker out and he soon wins a kung fu competition. The movie also shows Parkers forbidden love with a girl. It's a wonderful family movie and funny too.

I must say, this movie sucked compared to the original! lol. I thought the Chinese girl will be a really hot Asian model in a few years. If that's a weird thing to say. I saw this movie today so it's still fresh in my mind haha. It was a bummer to see they changed to Kung Fu rather than Karate, and there was no Mr. Myagi from Okinawa, but a maintenance man from China. Overall, the movie made me want to move to China to pursue my new life's dream of becoming an old white man, blended and masked in Asian culture instead of making me follow Dre Parker. No Daniel-San?!?!?!? WTF. Oh well. Alright movie.
