Dinner on the Streets of Logroño

So Saturday came around, and we headed out to Logroño in the evening. For those of you who don't know, Logroño is the capital of La Rioja. I guess for people in the states, this can be paralleled to the capital of a state, as this is where all of the legislative issues of the region are settled.

After two hours of touristy visits, specifically the cathedrals and the remaining part of a wall that once surrounded all of the city, we decided we were hungry, and to be honest, Logroño is a good city to be hungry in, as it's full of pincho/tapa bars. For those unfamiliar with the words pincho and tapa (they mean the exact same thing), they are small snack like foods that you usually order with a beer (well, unless you're 16... you get water then). These "snacks" range from fried fish to small sandwiches.

We walked from bar to bar, getting the thing each bar specialized in, and boy was it filling. Well enough words, for it would take me a significant amount of space to describe how incredible the food was. Pictures can partially do the job though, right?

Spanish streets just bring me joy.
